  • Incredible career opportunities

If you're after a rewarding career, Monash University can help make it happen.  With leading academics and world-class resources, combined with a ranking in the top 100 universities worldwide, we offer all you need to build a brighter future.

The Opportunity

In 2009, Monash University partnered with The Myer Foundation to create ClimateWorks Australia - an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to helping Australia transition to a prosperous, zero net carbon future. ClimateWorks translates ground-breaking research into tangible action, partnering with government, business and investors to uncover ways to reduce Australia's greenhouse gas emissions the fastest and most cost-effective way possible.

We are seeking a confident and creative Content Writer with a passion for sustainability to join our team at ClimateWorks Australia. If you have a natural flair for written communication and past experience in content writing, this could be the position for you!

As the Content Writer your main role will be to assist in the production of high quality communications content designed to build the ClimateWorks profile. You will be required to contribute ideas and creative solutions in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with staff and stakeholders to solve communication challenges. A familiarity with social media will be highly advantageous in this role; although you will develop content across a range of digital and print mediums, your primary focus will be on online content.

The successful applicant will possess a relevant qualification and/or experience in content writing. This will include highly developed editorial and proofing skills and the ability to translate complex technical information into content that engages a range of audiences. If you have a keen eye for detail and experience in Google Apps for Work, MS Office and desktop publishing tools, you will thrive in this appealing position.

If you believe you fit this profile, we look forward to receiving your application.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
